In the beginning, there was only the void,
Ginnungagap, where worlds were destroyed.
On one side fire, Muspelheim’s flame,
On the other icy Niflheim, cold and tame.
From the clash of extremes, life began,
Ymir, the giant, the first living man.
Born of the ice and fire’s embrace,
Creation stirred in that ancient place.
From the void came the world, shaped by gods and fate,
In the fires and the frost, the Nine Realms create.
Odin, Vili, Vé, with strength untold,
Gave life to Midgard, as the sagas unfold.
Ymir’s body gave the land its form,
Flesh became earth, and blood the storm.
Bones turned to mountains, teeth to stone,
Skull became sky, where the stars are sewn.
Odin and his brothers, they crafted well,
Midgard for the humans, where we dwell.
The great ash tree, Yggdrasil’s might,
Connects all realms, in the eternal fight.
From the void came the world, shaped by gods and fate,
In the fires and the frost, the Nine Realms create.
Odin, Vili, Vé, with strength untold,
Gave life to Midgard, as the sagas unfold.
Ask and Embla, the first of our kind,
Breathed into life by the gods so kind.
Given soul, sense, and mortal form,
From Yggdrasil’s branches, humanity was born.
The Aesir and Vanir, in Asgard high,
Giants in Jotunheim, under dark sky.
Elves in Alfheim, dwarves underground,
In these Nine Realms, magic’s profound.
Mimir’s well, with wisdom so deep,
Odin’s sacrifice, an eye to keep.
Runes of power, carved in pain,
Knowledge for the gods to gain.
Ragnarok looms, the end of days,
But from the ashes, a new world will blaze.
This is the tale the Norsemen told,
Of gods and giants, brave and bold.
From the void came the world, shaped by gods and fate,
In the fires and the frost, the Nine Realms create.
Odin, Vili, Vé, with strength untold,
Gave life to Midgard, as the sagas unfold.
In the heart of the world tree, our stories are spun,
Of battles and glory, and worlds begun.
So heed these old tales, of myth and lore,
From Ginnungagap’s void, to Ragnarok’s roar.
