Israel has reached a cap of 5,000 non-Jewish Ukrainian refugees allowed entry into the country, within days of announcing the limit.
The country’s refugee policy has caused outrage, as human rights groups accuse Israel of mistreating non-Jewish refugees and taking advantage of the crisis to maintain Jewish demographic supremacy over the Palestinian population.
