Four people died on the spot after a taxi was run over by a truck at Kukidolong in Kohima-Dimapur road on Saturday. The driver of the truck tried to escape the scene before police could reach the spot.

However, it soon caught the attention of one of the escort vehicles of Deputy CM Y Patton leading to a dramatic chase. After a brief chase, the truck was intercepted and the driver was arrested.
