During the summer of 2019, Yvette Young and Covet traveled to the Seymour Duncan tiny house, located just outside of Santa Barbara, CA, to film our second Seymour Duncan "Portrait Series" video. While filming, we captured this performance of "Shibuya" from Covet's 2018 album, "effloresce."

Yvette is an exceptional musician. Known primarily for her unique two-hand-tapping technique, use of complex tunings, and masterful guitar work with her band, Covet, Yvette is also a brilliant acoustic guitarist, song-writer, lyricist, and pianist.

Yvette has an expansive discography, including a full-length album, "effloresce," and an EP, "Currents" with her band, Covet, as well as two solo acoustic EPs and a solo piano EP. Covet is preparing to debut their second full-length album, "technicolor," on June 5, 2020. Yvette plays a variety of Seymour Duncan pickups including the Five-Two for Strat Set, Alnico II Pro for Tele Set, and SA-6 Mag Mic acoustic soundhole pickup.
