FAIR DINKUM MATE! Here's a snip of Men At Work's DOwn Under, a song the entire planet has known for 30 or something years. And here's a snip of the tune from Kookaburra Sits on the Old Gum Tree, written by some little girl guide 70-odd years ago and presented to Lord Baden Powell, probably along with a marshmallow on a stick.
Men At Work have just LOST a lengthy legal battle with Larrikin, the owner of the rights to Marion's song from 1932 and face having to pay 60% of the royalties they earned from it to Larrikin.
What a total and utter JOKE! These guys will be suicidal. They made their living off that song.
A message to the hideous lawyer who came up with the case: Gay your life must be.
