Mr. Simon here with a different kind of video. I went and purchased (yes, I'm not popular enough just yet to get free stuff!), a 3rd Generation Yoto Player. And I thought I'd share my excitement with the world, and hopefully help all the confused parents out there trying to make a decision on which audio player they should get for their child.

I have been researching different of children's "screen-free" audio players over the last year in preparation for my debut children's album release. People are always saying to me that they would love to purchase it from me... but why would you want to spend money on music these days when you can basically get it for free (as utterly heartbreaking as it is to even utter this!!!)? And in what format would you buy it from me on too? A CD, memory stick, vinyl album, cassette tape?

I mean, why even bother with any of these formats anymore - it's gonna be on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music... blah blah blah. Sure, you're probably paying a monthly subscription to one or more (like me) of these platforms, and yes, I will make something from the streams (Spotify = $0.003 - $0.005 per stream!), but that's not even the real point, to be honest.

What parents want is for their child to listen to good quality music/audiobooks/podcasts etc... without staring at a screen whilst they do it! AND, parents in my community want to buy my music and support me.
