I have a statistic wrong, it's 3 translated works (looked up numbers at midnight clicking on the first link does that) and there therefore 88 books from US and UK authors (or that first where published in the US/UK) on the list.

I forgot to include about the fact that I would have wanted to see the masterlist of 250 books.

So I filmed this a couple of nights ago so it feels kinda late by now. But hey, I'm putting it up now. It got way longer than I thought it was going to get. Tell me what your thoughts were when you looked through the list!

Note: And that another way to get more diversity internationally would have been to have, I dont' know, maybe 100 authors worldwide picking 5 book each. Then having to motivate inclusion on the list for each of the books according to the criteria that TIME magazine had. And then still have the masterlist avalible so that the curious could look at it.
