"Acid Trip"
Underwater levels in Mega Man games generally mean spikes everywhere, and with that thumbnail, you can see this one's no exception! I would imagine some of the jumps down in the deep here are going to give players problems, especially the set pictured. Honestly, my least favorite part is the bit with the carousels and spiked-up ceilings more than the staircases of them.
That said, a good part of this level also takes place topside, and it's there where you'll want to take care of the bubble-spitting bots before they can acidify the water. In fact, one of those in-game goals is to not have a single bubble hit the liquid. Yeah, that's a job for special weapons, and we've brought a few to the dance to help us out with that!
Couple all that with one of my favorite minibosses along with a surprisingly not annoying shield boss showdown, and you've got a level that really flows together well even when it's going against Mega here. Didn't even notice how close I was to doing a no-damage run of the stage from start to the shutter. Looks like we're starting to get some of that skill back now. Neat!
