We test the German motorways with a BMW M5 going to 270 kms per hour. A Yamaha reaching 299. Last the Audi R8 reaching 340 kms per hour. Astonishing. The speed limit in our freeways must increase. Our motorways can have also unlimited speeds like the German autobahns but the revenue from the fines does not let our politicians bring us inline with the best in the world. The German autobahns. Most Australian motorways can easily go up to 130 and 150 kms speed limits and some could be even unlimited with the right driver training.
