This is a video of my father's rooftop vegetable garden. He painstakingly grows various varities of seasonal fruits and vegetables on our limited roof space and we get to enjoy the healthy and fresh vegetables which are cooked within just 30 minutes of harvesting...
These are grown in an completely organic manner and there is a wide variety of plants being grown like tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, brinjals (long, round and green), beans, cluster beans, raddish, carrots, bottle gourd, bitter gourd, dragon fruit, custard apple, guava, leafy vegetables..... to name a few.
During the farms prime time like during rainy and spring seasons it yields a harvest of around 4 to 5 kgs of tender and fresh vegetables everyday. This video is taken towards the end of the crop and we harvested around 4 kg tomatoes, 1.5kgs brinjals 500grms beans after just 3 days.
