All winter I have been propagating succulents. Now that summer is here I am now flush with great succulents to use in my outdoor arrangements, but also to share with my friends. Succulents make a sweet gift, but what if you could grow and gift your very own succulents.
Mother's day is right around the corner so I am preparing a small succulent gift for my mom. As in any plant arrangement, start with your show topping thriller centerpiece. In this arrangement I started with a Jade 'Gollum' or 'Ogre's Ear' and filled in the empty spots with Perle Von Nurnburg, Sedeveria Lilac Mist and another echeveria propagation that I can't seem to remember (The green with pink margins, if you know it's name, let me know).
Every good arrangement needs something trailing over the side so I added a Graptopetalum paraguayense propagation and some 'Calico Kitten' crassula cuttings.
Using succulent propagation I already had, a $3 ceramic from the Target 'One Spot' and a $3 Jade plant, this sweet gift packs a lot of value for only $6 bucks.
If you are into succulents, check out this video on Graptopetalum paraguayense propagation and arrangements.
