Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Aug. 22, 2024: The autumnal equinox is ONE month away (Sept. 22 at 8:43 AM), and although we've had a little taste of fall it'll be feeling summery in no time.

Temperatures will be back above average this weekend and into next week.

At the same time the heat is building, the humidity will be climbing. Feels like temperatures will be into the 90s next week - this could prove to be a challenge for kinds in unairconditioned classrooms.

Inevitably fall (and eventually winter) will take over. So if you don't like the heat and humidity, you can bet that cooler weather will be on the way ... eventually.
