Here are some more arborvitaes successfully rooted from cuttings! (Thuja occidentalis) I started these little shrubs in the fall and pretty much left them in the greenhouse all winter. Then all spring, then all summer, until now! They have been rooted for a while but I just now potted them in their own pots and could actually see how well their roots are doing.
Arborvitae is a good plant for a landscape screen or hedge and is fairly easy to grow from cuttings. Whether you are doing an Emerald Green, Green Giant, Smaragd, Golden Globe they can be grown from cuttings.
