If every piece I made had to be perfect in order for me to share it, I would never share anything at all.

Every time I create something I learn something new throughout the process.

It is important for me to bring together dancers who maybe I don’t work with often, who I look up to, who I can learn from, who I feel will contribute positive energy to a space.

The process for me is just as, if not more important than the end result. I believe that if the process is enjoyable for everyone then that will reflect on stage.

This piece was exactly that, a team effort. I am so grateful to those who willingly believed in me and gave their time, energy and ideas.

An amazing teacher once taught me that, no matter our perceived level or experience, we all have value to offer others. I am so grateful for the opportunity to express myself and learn in this way and hope that I can encourage others to share what makes them light up, even if they don’t think it’s “good enough”.
