SABC labour unions BEMAWU and CWU have vowed to shut down the public broadcaster if management fails to respond to their demands within seven days. Members belonging to the two unions picketed during lunch at Auckland Park, Pretoria, and the Free State.
This follows management's decision to retrench over two-thousand employees.
