Talk given by Dr. Jena Khodadad on January 7, 2022.
Dr Jena Khadem Khodadad is a fourth generation Iranian Bahá’í. The major part of her life was in the United States of America, where she received her Ph.D degree from Northwestern University in Biological Sciences (with focus on cellular and molecular biology), followed with postdoctoral fellowships and Faculty positions in medical and graduate schools. Her academic career entailed lecturing to medical and graduate students and research in cellular and molecular biology. Jena is emeritus professor. Her scientific publications are in scientific journals and academic books. Aside from her scientific research and publications, she is deeply interested in studies centered on Baha’i history, worldview and the fundamental principles of the Bahá’í Faith, such as The Harmony of science and religion. In this respect, her latest publication is a book, “Scientific Principles at Work in the Worldwide Advancement of Baha’i Faith” (George Ronald).
