Ladakh LIVE: Body recovered of 17- year old boy drowned in Indus River | Leh | Ladakh news

The missing boy body recovered this morning from Indus River near Palam Spituk. UT DRF personnel recovered the body. The biggest search operation carried out to locate the 17 year old boy who drowned in Indus driver near Shey on 30th June evening continues from past one week. Incident happened when he along with two other friends came for swimming. Team from UT DRF, rescue volunteers from Kargil Baseej-e-Imam IKM, local volunteers, Ladakh Police, paramilitary, Volenteers of neighbouring village did their best to locate the body. UT DRF SP Pradeep Singh, Additional SP Rigzin Sangdup & Dy SP Sonam Dorjay, Councilor Thiksay were supervising the search operation.
