Hello everyone, hope you are all well! Today I am sharing with you the recipe of the famous crying cake, it is a very popular Turkish cake, which is easy to make, very moist with a chocolate and whipped cream that melts in your mouth.

Ingredients:
The chocolate sponge cake:
• 3 eggs
• 170g of sugar
• 250ml of milk
• 2 tbsps of coffee (the coffee enhance the taste of the chocolate)
• 130ml of sunflower oil
• 1 tsp of vanilla extract
• 30g of unsweetened cocoa powder (sifted)
• 200g of all-purpose flour (sifted)
• 1 packet of baking powder or 8g
• ¼ tsp of salt
To soak the cake:
• 300ml of milk
• 15g of unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 tbsp of sugar
• 1 tsp of coffee
The whipped cream:
• 500ml of double cream (Heavy cream)
• 3 tbsps of icing sugar
The chocolate ganache:
• 280ml of double cream (Heavy cream)
• 150g of dark chocolate
Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes .
This cake does not unmould, so make sure to use a high mould.
35cm by 25cm mould.
