Dr. Michael Ogbonna is a licensed pharmacist and first-year medical student at LSU School of Medicine. Dr. Ogbonna attended Xavier University of Louisiana where he obtained his PharmD in 2020. After working as a retail pharmacist, for several years, he made the difficult decision to go back to medical school. In this episode, we will explore his rationale for making this career switch, address the challenges he had to face as a nontraditional applicant, and even learn about how he has created a YouTube channel to document his own journey.
