Dr. Denise Gallagher is a Clinical Assistant professor with the University of Pittsburgh specializing in Macula and Retina Diseases. Dr. Gallagher received her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College. She went on to obtain her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, as well as completed a Macula, Retina, and Vitreous Disease and Surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, UPMC Eye Center. Dr. Gallagher then joined the Department of Ophthalmology at the UPMC Eye Center in 2008 as full-time Clinical Assistant Professor specializing in Macula and Retina Diseases.
