As a product of Bend, Oregon, Jared Elston has some seemingly large boots to fill. Bend has produced and fostered some of the most prominent all-around rippers in snowboarding, with the likes of Austin Smith, Josh Dirksen, Allister Schultz, and Curtis Ciszek calling Bend home, and now, under all of their cumulative tutelage, Elston is set to become the next big thing to emerge from the Bend/Mt. Bachelor area.

As explosive as he is on his snowboard, Jared is rather subdued in real life, a contrast to the fact that he’s insanely talented, but Jared plays it cool and casually kills it while strapped in. Last winter, Jared stacked insane clips that can only be seen in BETA and it will undoubtedly serve as his introduction to professional snowboarding, and with a lengthy career ahead of him, this will be a fun winter for him to look back on one day.
