"I'm still Your Pappy" composed and played by Frank Wallace.
For those who love David Rubio guitars (like me) 1965 is the most collectible year in his oeuvre. It was a 1965 Rubio guitar that Julian Bream used for 20th Century Guitar which is,in my opinion, his most significant and important recording. As if one could choose but still...
This particular instrument is in remarkably excellent condition with one small and well repaired top crack. Kept by the same owner for the entirety of it's life, it bears a charming second label dedicating the instrument to him. The guitar plays beautifully, possesses a firm and noble response with singing trebles and big basses. A gorgeous example of Maestro Rubio's work.
