This is a lesson for ambient drones on guitar, without the need for expensive gear. I explain what drones are in music. Then I set up the two free plugins needed in Ableton: Neural Amp Modeler with a Fender Deluxe Reverb II rig model, and Valhalla Supermassive. I then show some patterns one can play on the guitar to get beautiful drone sounds with the plugins setup. Then I show how to get some additional in movement in the drone sound, and how to play drones over chord changes. Lastly I give some additional tips for further experimentation.
