This technique takes advantage of the very fast (0.1s) ADS time of the BR9 to circumvent the disgusting amount of visual recoil on the gun. It quite simply involves releasing the aim button immediately after firing the shot, causing the gun to rapidly back to it's hip-fire position and no longer block the target. The instant the gun has moved sufficiently out of the way, re-aim and shoot the instant the cross-hairs disappear again. In short, it's kind of like rapidly quick-scoping with a pistol.
As shown in the video after an hour's practice, you can shoot maybe 6 times a second using this technique, it even might be possible to go up to the 600 rpm fire rate limit if you have god tier hands! When you shoot this fast the gun looks like a transparent blur, behind which you you can fairly clearly see/track the target as you shoot.
Important practice tips: following these tips will make it much much easier to get the hang of consistently performing the technique, (I made almost no progress till I tried it this way)
1. Go into a private match and create a new class with BR9, MP5 (shares ammo with BR9), bandolier, sleight of hand, and anything but steady aim for slot 3. You will now have a massive 228 reserve ammo for the BR9
2. Choose a nice map with lots of walls to shoot at such as Backlot and go to a wall with a visually distinct object on it e.g. a poster and aim at it so that the BR9 hides the poster from view.
3. While still aiming down sight, shoot the BR9 while simultaneously releasing the aim button a fraction later so that the bullet lands where the gun is aiming, and return to the starting position (aiming down sights with a released trigger) as quick as possible but not so fast that you can't see a clear after-image of the hidden poster, do this complete action slowly say 100 times, it must become the instinctive way to shoot.
4. Start to speed up the rate at which you perform this action, till you can shoot it in a burst roughly as fast as the fastest you can say "1234". make sure the bullets are not spraying at all.
5. Finally get good at abruptly performing this action without needing to pre-aim beforehand.
6. Do a few matches against bots for target practice, you should find your brain naturally stitches the after-images between shots together and you can track your targets with ease. Finally see if you can master the mid-range encounters as by now you should have discovered first-hand that the actual recoil of the BR9 is extremely low and therefore is still fairly competitive even at longer ranges.
7. Go Shred on some public matches with your new skills, I recommend a stopping power sniper class with bandioler for essentially full-range versatility.
