Florence Scovel Shinn (1871- 1940) was a New Thought spiritual teacher and metaphysical writer. She came to embrace teaching and writing later in life after a career as an artist and book illustrator. Her works and teachings have influenced and inspired many modern day motivational teachers and been a gift for so many.
