Captain Sir Tom Moore raised more than £32m for the NHS by walking 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday.
After his death yesterday, Her Majesty the Queen led tributes, recognising "the inspiration he provided for the whole nation and others across the world" as politicians and icons across the globe praised his legacy.
His daughters Hannah and Lucy said they "shared laughter and tears" with their father in their final few hours at Bedford.
