Happy #TherapyTipTuesday! Today’s tip is a great developmental milestone activity for transitioning from army crawling to 4-point contact, and then transitioning to sitting.

For this tip, place the child on their stomach and show an attention-grabbing toy or object that will encourage them to move forward. Help the child into 4-point contact by positioning their legs, and help them move their legs along as they go. Let the child move their arms independently until they reach for the target. Then bring their hips backwards until their bottom reaches the floor to sit. Repeat the activity as needed until the child can perform the transitional movements independently.
