In 1993 Tim Burton created a third sequel to Batman entitled “Batman Continues.” It starred Michael Keaton as Batman, Marlon Wayans as Robin, Billy Dee Williams as Two-Face, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman, Rene Russo as Dr Chase Meridian, and a show stealing performance by Robin Williams as The Riddler! It was the highest grossing superhero film of its time. Oh, and there was a HUGE twist ending with the return of a character thought gone. It’s just a shame it only existed in an alternate reality, because it was a phenomenal movie!
