I didn't find any existing designs that incorporated all my objectives. This video shows you the design process and what I consider the best design available.
Objectives: 1) maximum chicken privacy so they don't get spooked when you enter the coop. 2) eggs to roll away so that chickens cannot eat their eggs and eggs stay clean. 3) Adjustable angled shelf to control speed at which eggs roll away.
