Molmys is a river in the Perm Territory, a left tributary of the Yazva. It flows into Yazva 115 km from the mouth. Length - 100 km, total catchment area - 1090 km².
It starts from the confluence of the Western Molmys and Eastern Molmys rivers, which originate in the middle part of the Kvarkush ridge, near the sources of the Northern and Midday Yazva. The general direction of the current is first southwest, then west and northwest. The river flows among the hills of the Kvarkush ridge, overgrown with taiga forest, the whole course passes through uninhabited areas. In the upper and middle reaches, the river has a mountainous character, in the channel there are a large number of sinks, rapids and rifts. Almost the entire course passes through the southeastern part of the Krasnovishersky district, a small section in the middle reaches of the river passes through the Solikamsky district. Molmys has a large number of tributaries, mostly small mountain rivers flowing from the surrounding hills.
All along the river flows in a narrow wooded valley. The bottom of the river is rocky, but there are few rocky outcrops along the banks. The width of the river in the upper reaches is 15-25 meters, in the lower reaches it expands to 50-60 meters. In the middle and lower reaches, it forms a large number of islands. Below the Bolshaya Sirya tributary, the waters of Molmys disappear into limestone rocks, and then, with a noise, rush to the surface. Molmys flows into Yazva above the village of Krasny Bereg.
