A story of Russia's failed experiment with democracy (1990-Present Day)

The video analyzes Russia's brief flirtation with democracy before regressing to authoritarianism. It journeys from the earliest years when the Yeltsin-Gaidar-Kozyrev trio (President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister respectively) thrived and began transitioning Russia to a democracy to the modern day where Putin has near total control over all aspects of Russian life. This control has allowed Putin to send Russian soldiers to invade many of the former Soviet States to return to the old order where the government determined everything and loyalty to the leader was paramount.
