The Bombardier Manufacturing System (BMS), which standardizes its aircraft manufacturing process, was not being rigorously applied, weakening the expertise that is key to the company’s reputation. In response, Bombardier Aerospace partnered with Ellicom to develop a blended BMS education and training program. This program, offered in three languages (French, English and Spanish), consists of a full day of training, during which participants alternate between online modules and hands-on group activities. By the end of the course, learners should have an overall understanding of Bombardier Aerospace's manufacturing activities. Throughout the day, expert BMS specialists ensure that learners have proper guidance.
