There are three sensory entries that affect the feet: the skin (receptors), the muscles, and the joints. Postural insoles allow you to have an impact on all three to re-establish brain balance and proper postural alignment. Note: On average, it takes around 6 weeks for your brain to create neuroplasticity.

Your body weight needs to equally distribute itself onto your two moving feet to resist gravity in the most optimal way possible. In fact, pain and bodily injuries often indicate an improper foot posture, and yet, the feet are continuously omitted from common rehabilitation practices.

Testing Foot Stability: The subject lifts their right foot off the floor while the left foot remains rested on the floor. The observer will look at the left foot to notice pronation. The subject will repeat the same motion, but with the opposite foot instead, while the observer will focus on the right foot. In the video, the right foot moves outward. In conclusion, the subject has a mixed foot.

Testing the Brain: Using a pen or a pencil, stroke your feet from the heel to the toes, one foot at a time. Ask yourself: Is the sensation the same on both sides?

If you feel less of a sensation on one foot, it means that your brain is receiving less stimulation from the foot. Inevitably, this will create an imbalance between your feet when it comes to movement and posture.
