Can you believe that guinea pigs would be in this condition? Why is dehydration so serious and what other issues are at play here that you need to know about. These guinea pigs came to us following a call for help Tuesday 9th June. Our volunteer went above and beyond to drive and meet this family at a location they nominated about 1.5 hours round trip. They literally handed two carriers over and left.
The four piggies arrived at Cavy Central late evening. Despite this and the voluntary help we give, I am beyond astounded by what transpired.
I will keep this short, but essentially 15 hours after them asking for help, the family came to collect them. I was told days later, they took them to a vet who said nothing was wrong.
Really?
I really wish people would listen and learn more about Satin Syndrome and know what they are doing. What they didn't know is that we filmed this so it would help them and others!
