How I Mixed and Produced "One in a Million" by MA/SA
In this video, I'll take you through my process of mixing and producing the song "One in a Million" by MA/SA. We'll cover a variety of production and mix techniques, including vocal automation, plug-ins, and audio manipulation. All of the work was done in Ableton Live, using plug-ins from Native Instruments, Output, Izotope, Soundtoys, Klevgrand, Baby Audio and others.

The vocals on this track have a lot going in terms of automating. We are changing Matt's vocal throughout the entire song through plug-ins like Little Alter Boy and Comeback Kid.
You'll also get to see how I changed some synth sounds using Ableton's warp feature. Vocal chops are used as more of a texture by blending them with a harmonizer. The drums are kept simple, but punchy with minimal processing and are made thicker by a gliding 808 bass.
A little later in the video we get to break down capturing the creative process in the moment and not letting perfection get in the way of your creative process. #vocals #mixingvocals
