Uganda have been crowned the Africa Netball champions after out classing Zambia 67-50 in a thrilling final at the continental championships in Kampala. The hosts produced a masterclass performance winning all their five games played in a round Robin format. The newly crowned Africa Netball Queens will now be eager for the latest rankings, which will be released next week to determine if they will play in Commonwealth games next year. The continental event saw Uganda amass 10 points to win it. However, bottom placed Namibia struggled through the tournament, blaming it on inexperience.
