The world’s largest canyon system was found buried under Princess Elizabeth Land in East Antarctica earlier this year by UK scientists. Now, the scientists believe they may have discovered a large lake beneath the ice, one that may contain life forms that have been trapped, undisturbed, in the frozen continent for millions of years.
