Here are a few techniques to improve your Wim Hof Breath Work. Often I see people taking less than optimal breathing patterns, and layering intense breath work on top of those suboptimal patterns.
Over time this can create some potentially severe musculoskeletal issues.
With the current corona virus issue, many are looking to the Wim Hof method to improve immune system function. That's great and does have some supportive research. However, at the same time, one could look to improve their overall breathing pattern, which could have far reaching positive outcomes.
I demo a few drills that will put you into a better position to breathe well, and I emphasize quality of breath over intensity.
Once you've learned to control and implement a more "optimal" breathing pattern, you can lay on the intensity and chase the wim hof high!
