THE LORD LOOKED UNTO THE EGYPTIANS THROUGH THE PILLAR OF FIRE.
EXODUS 14: 24, "And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians".
There is something special about the Lord's Spirit. He is a defence to the Lord's own and on the other hand He is a weapon against the Lord's adversaries.
The above encounter in Exodus 14: 24 happened during the opening of the Red Sea miracle. Exodus 14: 22 goes on to say, "And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left".
The beautiful part of all this miracle was in the ministry of the Holy Ghost. The bible records in Exodus 14: 21, "And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, the waters were divided.
Never undermine the ministry of the Holy Ghost to the Church:
▪The fire of the Lord's Spirit created a way where there was absolutely no way for his children.
• He arranged the waters in perfect order both on the left and right sides.
• The deep layer of muddy ground on the sea floor dried up in an instant for them to walk on dry ground.
The Lord's power is above all and no one can contest when the Lord intervenes for his children. The greatest mistake the Egyptians did was to pursue on the same dry ground.
Brethren; ". . . the LORD looked unto the host of Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, and took off their chariot wheels . ." ( Exodus 14 vs 24 -25).
The adversary has no chance against the Lord's Church. The ministry of the Holy Ghost in your life is your advantage over any situation you will find yourself in. Brethren in Christ, the same fire of the Lord's Spirit that opened the Red sea, is the same Spirit that closed it.
