Forecasters with the National Hurricane Center are monitoring a new tropical disturbance off the Florida coast.
As of 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, forecasters said the disturbance is located a few hundred miles off the southeastern U.S. coast. The disturbance is being described as a "broad trough of low pressure" producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
