Tell these dogs I love them very much.
I would fell like paradise if only I could be with them even just 1 hour or a day.
My daughter works for a doggie day care and she really likes it. Every day she gets to pet the sweet puppies. But she also has to stop fights and occasionally gets snipped at by a grumpy senior or a puppy with no manners. She occasionally gets peed on. They have one dog there that pees in his food bowl and someone has to clean that up. And everyday she gets to clean up lots and lots of dog hair and poop. So it has its plus and minuses 😂
This sounded vaguely familiar
A dog goes in to the telegram office
A dog goes in to the telegram office, says "I'd like to send a telegram to London. Here's a card with the recipient's details. I'd like the telegram to say:
"Woof woof woof woof woof woof woof."
The attendant says, "No worries good sir. Just so you know, we charge by the word and we are having a promotion this month: eight words for the price of seven. So you could say 8 woofs for no extra charge. "
"Why would I do that?" replied the dog. "That would just sound silly."
I’ve told her she should get a job in retail because at least the customers won’t pee and poop on you. Apparently that is a bad assumption on my part. 😂
Worked in retail. Been peed on while the guy laughed. Would not recommend.
Details: Walmart. Guy in an electric scooter. Had cases of soda by his feet. Had to grab soda to check them out. Cases of soda were wet.
I am a high school teacher and previously worked at a doggy day care…that job prepared me to teach teenagers more than anything else!
Yeah, dogs will pee anywhere. I was at a protest and this big honkin dog peed on my wheel chair. Took so much cleaning to get future dogs not to repeat the act😆
Beyond. This was an untrained Argentinian Dogo. Full grown but not quite a year old. I get training your dog for crowds, especially in the city but this dude had no control whatsoever over him. Peeing and going after other dogs. It was, however, not mean. Just exuberant. Very cool to see one in real life though.
You've really made the grade
And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Last I knew he had some girl drama, poor guy. I think he was accused of being a creep and might have crossed a line or two but the past
Even I thought the group of dogs chilling WERE the introverts, till the camera panned to the pair of dogs and my introverted soul felt so at home seeing them in the corner "dog ppl watching"
Shy or introvert? As far as i know introverts like to be around people, but need alone time to recharge their battery
Exactly. There’s a big difference between being introverted and just lacking social skills a bit (Particularly professionally). I always assumed I was introverted but I’ve realized I’m just not great at talking to people I don’t have anything specific to talk about with, but I also never really feel mentally drained after any sorts of social interaction and I can make work presentations and all of that just fine. It’s kind of an exiting realization for someone who just assumed my brain was always going to keep me down at unfamiliar places.
My dog that just recently passed away was like this. Always sniffing the perimeter, looking for squirrels, watching other dogs, or getting pets from all the humans. My boy was the sweetest, most caring dog I’ve ever known. RIP buddy. I bet these two dogs are the sweetest too.
sorry for your loss, i lost mine 3 months ago. i still break down and cry when i least expect it every once in a while. it will take time, but the acute pain does go away.
So I work remote, have for years, and at one point I had to go to an office for 3 months due to some security issues on a project I was involved with at the time. We only had 1 dog at the time and she was super social, and my commute could be brutal some days.
Decided to take her to a doggy day care, where I could watch on video. She would stay in a corner by herself and when the gate would open or close for a people or dog to enter/exit she would run as fast as she could trying to escape. She never made it out, and would just follow the people around hoping they would let her out. Ended up leaving work early to pick her up. Some dogs ain’t about that life.
Our dog also avoided dogs at daycare. He tolerated it and never caused trouble but just seemed stressed out around so many dogs. He socializes with friends solo most of the time so we just stopped doing daycare.
And honestly, this video is cute but this is an insane number of dogs together at once. I hope they have a good staff to dog ratio. This is exactly what the daycare we stopped going to was like, they had so many dogs in the yard at once. Since our dog was "behaving" - being quiet, not causing fights, they would say he loved it and was so good. But when I watched on camera he literally spent the whole time displaying avoidance behaviors, avoiding dogs, whining, pacing, etc. Clearly stressed.
