In industry several machines are operating side by side on the assembly line. The vibration of one machine could be easy transferred to the adjacent machine through floor. Similarly the engine vibration transmitting to the passenger cabin or the vibrations and jerks transmitting to passenger through suspension system is all examples of base excitation. How to model the base excitation vibrations, determine the equation of motion and time and frequency responses, displacement and force transmissibility of the system is presented to the viewers.
