APPROVED! Extra Food Stamp Benefit Raise (SNAP & EBT) 2022 - 2023
Each SNAP recipient gets a different benefit based on household size and income. The monthly benefits become available on an electronic benefits transfer (EBT) card. During the pandemic, SNAP agencies started providing emergency allotments (EA) each month in addition to the recipient’s monthly benefit. The minimum EA is $95.
The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) oversees SNAP and has extended the funding for EAs through July 15, 2022. However, it may be extended again.
