A sonic boom was heard over parts of the UK after RAF jets were deployed to escort a plane that had malfunctioned to safety.
Footage captures the moment the large sound was heard over Leicestershire and Northamptonshire on Saturday. The sound was also reported by people in Banbury and Oxford.
The plane had two people on board and was flying from Iceland to Nairobi via Southend when it lost contact and had to be escorted to Stansted Airport.
