FDNY On Scene All Hands Brooklyn Box 20 **77-75-0020** 239 Banker St off Meserole Ave. Fire on the Top Floor of a 4 Story Multiple Dwelling In Greenpoint, Brooklyn. 5/15/18
New York City Fire Department Units Responded to 239 Banker St Around 5:10pm on Tuesday Afternoon to Reports of A Fire on the Roof of an Apartment Building In Greenpoint, Brooklyn. On Arrival Units had Fire Coming Out of a Roof Vent and the 10-75 (Working Fire Signal) was Transmitted. The Fire was Quickly Knocked Down and While Searching for Extensions Members Had Discovered Additional Fire in the Walls on the 4th Floor In Between Two Apartments. 2 Hose Lines were Stretched and Used and An Extra Engine and Truck Company were Requested Due to the Window Bars on the First Floor. The Fire was Placed Under Control about 40 Minutes Later Since the First Due Units Arrival.
