The Magnificent Ambersons, Orson Welles second film, was probably the best movie ever made, but we'll never know as it was butchered by the studio.

This is my first attempt at restoring the opening of this great film. Of course this cannot fully be done, but notice how everything seems to work much better when things fall into place. Compare it with the released version: [ Ссылка ]
