My original plan was to try an upcoming tournament lake but due to high winds plans changed to a smaller nearby lake with sheltered coves and areas to get out of the wind. Lake Jacksonville is located just south of Tyler Texas and is loaded with bass especially spotted bass. The water is crystal clear and is a lot of fun to fish.
