This was done after 2 years of not being changed. The oil was due to be changed according to the tag in the window. It was a year past due but still had plenty of miles to go. The oil that was used was AMSOIL Signature Series 5w-20 with the AMSOIL 15K filter. The oil was still slick but figured after 2 years it may not last another year so i decided to go ahead and change it. The vehicle is a 2009 Mazda 3 2.0l. This car has no leaks and doesnt burn or use any oil. I thought it would have been darker. There isnt by pass filter system on this car just the normal full flow filter that screws to the block. The oil is a 25k mile interval and was done at 18k miles and 2 years.
