BMW M division very rarely miss the mark. If you see that M badge (not slapped onto a 320d) you know you're looking at one of the very best performance cars in its genre. Having just celebrated 50 years of BMW M, there is a big portfolio to choose from when picking your favourite.

With the M3 Touring, launched at last year's Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, being the talk of the motoring world, we've decided to try and whittle down what we consider to be the top 10 BMW M cars of all time.
