I couldn't wait to visit San Diego! I followed my locals all over their city to learn more about San Diego tourism and find out the best things to do in San Diego! This southern California city is a local paradise, with so many beautiful San Diego beaches, attractions, and restaurants. In this video you'll see some of the top San Diego tourist attractions and my recommendations on the best restaurants when visiting San Diego.

We started our San Diego tourism adventure north, in the suburban beach city of Carlsbad. This city is known for the Carlsbad State beach, so that's where we went! Beach volleyball, beautiful people, and warm sun rays! The weather averages in the mid 60's and some of the best restaurants in Carlsbad San Diego lie right near the coastline.

We drove a little south to check out some iconic San Diego attractions. When you visit San Diego, don't miss the barking seals in La Jolla, one of the most popular San Diego tourism attractions in that area. For terrific people watching, head down the boardwalks of Pacific & Mission beach. Watch out for bikers, joggers, roller-bladers, skaters, power walkers, and everything else in between. The boardwalk is full of colorful people, so throw some shades on and check everyone out! As you're strolling the boardwalk, take some time to visit Belmont Park. Belmont Park has carnival rides, shopping, and tons of food options!

- Kaaboo Del Mar for music and art festivals

Balboa Park has all types of San Diego attractions including museums, gardens, performing arts, and the San Diego Zoo. In downtown San Diego you can't miss the Padres stadium at Petco Park, the Seaport Village and Broadway Pier to see Naval ships, and the USS Midway Museum. You'll find all types of San Diego restaurants in the Gaslamp Quarter but Beach Hut Deli was one of my favorite fun places to eat in downtown San Diego.

So, what are the best things to do in San Diego? You can't go wrong with San Diego tourism in this gorgeous southern California city. San Diego is a perfect place to enjoy outdoor activities, so take advantage of this weather by visiting the beaches, the people, and all the food!
